Lately we have been doing some poking and prodding in our market to determine just what the people are looking for.
We have begun the process of R&D on some old favorites that hit pretty close to home, and we are trying to guage interest from the market.
The first idea, and one being researched independently by our master armourer, is getting together the legendary yet rare Colt R80 Monitor. Yes, the same Colt Monitor that the FBI armed themselves with back in the days of Bonnie and Clyde when the Thompson just wouldn’t do the trick.
We would be talking a semi-auto version of the historic piece, not full auto. Since it is similar to our already awesome semi-auto BAR in a few ways- it becomes a realistic possibility.
The second idea, inspired by some initial feedback, is producing a FN-D BAR in semi-auto. Maybe just the receiver, maybe the entire thing.
We would love to continue to bring you the same quality with these potential new projects that we have delivered on our other products- at a realistic price point.

The future probably wont have old guns redesigned into semi-autos. I would like to see something a bit more modern from OOW. If you are going to go through the time and expense of R&D, why not start with something all new.
Don’t get me wrong, collectors guns are a great thing, I have a bunch of them in the vault. But my favorite guns are the ones that I can take out and shoot, not cry if they get a scratch, and didn’t cost a months salary.
Think Bushmaster ACR and FN Scar. But better.
Or how about a handgun? STI and SVI are some of the most coveted handguns in the world, and are made by small companies. Build a full race gun, then make a ‘carry’ version.
Would love to see a Colt Monitor produced by OOW.

Would definately buy some FN-D receivers for my parts kits. A monitor would be very cool too. Just to throw some ideas out there how about a 41 Johnson lmg and a Israeli DROR. Anyways keep up with the great ideas and products OOW!
Yes, a semi-auto Colt Monitor would be great! I just wish I could afford your 1918 SLR BAR. Also, the FN-D BAR would be awesome as well. Man, if I ever hit the lottery you guys are the first I’m gonna call to place some orders!
